I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when booking, but the photos looked great and the location right on Seneca Lake seemed promising—and I’m glad to say it exceeded expectations. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Check-in was smooth, and the room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. A real highlight was the porch with rocking chairs facing the lake, which was just about 100 yards away. Each night, a fire was lit near the dock, and guests could relax in the chairs and enjoy the peaceful lakeside scenery—a perfect way to unwind. Although we didn’t get the chance to try the on-site restaurant (which came highly recommended by others), the overall atmosphere of the lodge was relaxing and inviting. I also appreciated the thoughtful follow-up after I accidentally left a work folder behind—staff contacted me and offered to ship it back (at my expense), which speaks to their attentiveness and customer service. The only minor downside for me was the bedding. This is mostly personal preference, but I didn’t love the pillow covers and blankets—it lacked that crisp, fresh “hotel linen” feel. Simple white bedding might elevate the comfort level. We did purchase a bottle of wine from the front desk. While I expected a convenience markup, it was a bit steep—$50 for a bottle that was around $20 online. Still, it was a nice touch to have wine available on-site. Overall, Plum Point Lodge is a beautiful and serene lakeside stay with thoughtful staff and charming views. I’d absolutely consider returning.

Nice location. It took a while to forgot the thermostat did not actually control the heater, no idea what it's for aside from telling me that setting the temp to 66 was doing nothing to the 80 degrees the unit was pumping out. The bed head was a few degrees lower the the foot, which isn't great. Lastly I could have done without the light on all night by the windows (a blackout curtain could fix this). Wifi is trash here Location and sunrises take the cake and redeem things.

Mike and team were very accommodating! Even though it was raining he made sure to have a fire going! Very nice to have pub to get drinks and while overlooking the lake. Breakfast provided were muffins made from the local mennonites, excellent! Minutes away to many local wineries. If you love wine or the lake this is the place to go, I will be back! Thanks for a wonderful experience

My wife and I love Plum Point lodge. We come to the finger lakes every year for our anniversary—with our wiener dog, Oscar Mayer—and we don’t even consider staying anywhere else. In addition to the location, which is central to many great wineries and restaurants, the staff is always so hospitable and accommodating, not to mention friendly! And of course dog-friendly. Sapalta, the on-site restaurant, is always delicious, and every time we come here there is something new to try. The view of Seneca lake is also unparalleled, which you can see from just about every room, along with seating right on the dock. This is the third year in a row we’ve stayed here, and look forward to many more stays at this wonderful lodge. I could go on, but you’ll just have to come experience for yourself!

We had our wedding here in October of 2023 and it was spectacular! The pricing was great and although it's not the fanciest accommodations, the location and service was spectacular! After getting booted from our original wedding venue of choice, Plum Point was our savior. The waterfront was great for pictures, and the bar service was spectacular. They even surprised us by going around with shots on the dance floor for people to take which was not expected! Once again, we highly recommend for a low key wedding with great scenery and service.

Couldn't love this place more! Thank you for the incredible hospitality and service. We were booked to stay in a yurt but the weather turned cold and wet. The day of arrival we received a call from the lodge saying they were moving us into a king room for the same price as the yurt because they wanted us to be as comfortable as possible. The food, location, staff...everything just perfect.

I had the pleasure of staying at Plum Point Lodge this July with my family. I was beyond impressed with the entire stay. We were fortunate to spend time in the well-kept and beautiful pool just steps away from our room where luxurious purple towels were provided. We stayed in a perfect two bed hotel room which was spotless and guest ready upon our arrival. The staff was inviting and welcoming. I loved the prepackaged s'more kits that can be found at the front desk. It was very child friendly! The stay was so relaxing and enjoyable. In the morning, the front desk provided fresh and delicious coffee and homemade muffins to enjoy. You cannot beat the view of this hotel as well. We will certainly be back to the Plum Point Lodge!

Plum Point Lodge is an adorable quaint lodge with motel-esque rooms and a couple of yurts on a slice of lake front property. The main cabin type room that I stayed in smelled a tad dank/damp, but that comes with the territory of being right next to a lake. The restaurant & bar, Sapalta, are extremely convenient and tasty for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (my poached egg was perfectly poached and jammy). The bartender, Lisa, coaxed my, strictly wine drinking, boyfriend to broaden his horizons with a many a mixed drinks that he loved! Mike the GM gave us an amazing introduction to our room and the property when we arrived, and had his hands in just about everything hospitality (he even served us brunch). 10/10 would recommend it to anyone who is traveling to the FLX area. Thank you Plum Point for being the perfect venue for my cousins wedding!
